Welcome! My name is Merritt Sasser, and I am so happy to be at Bay Elementary! I am originally from Columbus, Georgia, where I have spent the last 15 years teaching in both public and private, independent schools. I grew up vacationing in the Panama City Beach area, and have loved it ever since. I recently married, and moved to the Inlet Beach area this summer. I have 3 children (Luke, 19; John, 16; Kate 14), and two precious pups named "Rosie" and "Daisy". I enjoy running, biking, reading, and spending as much time as possible on our beautiful beaches! I am very excited about the new school year, and I look forward to getting to know each of you!
